Copia del 1521 (scritta da Giovan Battista eletto Bargello nel 1521). MANOSCRITTO in 4ø privo di legatura composto da 172 pp. (ne dovrebbero mancare 30 o 34 fra inizio e fine). Poema popolare in volgare e dialetto abruzzese a soggetto storico su guerre battaglie e fatti regionali (lotte tra Pretatti e Camponeschi, terremoto) del travagliato periodo angioino tra il 1252 al 1362 ca. Mancanza di picc. parte del marg. inf. dell'ultima carta, aloni marg. e tracce d'ossid. ma nel complesso ben accettabile. Inutile discuterne l'importanza. Trattato del medico di INnocenzo VII sui veleni, sulle piante e sulle parti velenose degli animali, sugli effetti e le cure. Ponzetto, Ferdinando, filosofo, teologo e medico. Appartenente al clero fiorentino, nel 1485 fu medico di Innocenzo VIII e svolse vari incarichi anche sotto i pontificati di Alessandro VI, Giulio II, Adriano VI e Clemente VII. Nel 1513 fu nominato tesoriere generale e presidente della camera apostolica, nel 1517 vescovo di Molfetta. Nato a Firenze, mori' a Roma nel 1528. Si tratta di uno dei primi testiache danno descrizione dell'uso di droghe.rarissimo

Contemporary sig. to first leaf. Discrete early worm trace to inner margin to foot, otherwise very nice attractive example with crisp pages. Pictures provided gladly upon request! VD 16, E 3191 (in München nicht mehr vorhanden); Adams E 395; Bezzel 1311; Vander Haeghen I, 123. - Das Lob der Torheit in einer frühen und seltenen Ausgabe , mit dem Kommentar des Ger. Listrius sowie Senecas "Ludus de morte Claudii Caesaris" mit den Scholiien des Beatus Rhenanus, dann von Synesius "De laudibus calvitii" in der Übersetzung des J. Phrea mit den Scholien des Beatus Rhenanus, und "Erasmi Epistola apologetica ad Mart. Dorpium". - Nur gering gebräunt und wenig fleckig. Titel bis zur Bordüre beschnitten und angerändert, SS. 35/36 mit hinterlegtem Randausschnitt. Rücken mit Pergament-Streifen ersetzt, ohne die 4 Bindebänder. Insgesamt schönes Exemplar in zeitgenössischem Prägeband. - Complete copy, minor browning little spotting, title-page with marginal restaurations not touching the broder, 1 leaf with marginal repair (no loss of text). Spine covered with vellum, laces gone. Still a nice copy of this early and rare edition in contemporary blindstamped pigskin.

Bookplate of Danel Ruzo (1900-1991) Peruvian archaeologist & Nostradamus collector. Extra- Illustrated with 3 woodcuts on two leaves of "Garde du Tombeau" (pasted to f.f.e.p.), and "Le Veritable Portrait De Nostradamus Dans Son Tombeau" and the "Epitaphe De Nostradamus" with a circular portrait (inserted). The attribution of this work to an Neapolitan author Thomas-Joseph Moult in the 18th century has been demonstrated to be an error in attribution. Jacques Heilbronn in his masterful discussion demonstrates that the ascription is a false one and he result of a series of mis-readings. [see his on-line discussion at http://cura.free.fr/xx/17halb11.html].The work on which the later editions is based is actually a work of the 16th century and contemporaneous with Nostradamus. Volguine in his facsimile edition of Moult in 1941 declared that the author was actually Nostradamus. The 1740 edition of the pseudo-Moult was very popular and went through a number of editions and was quite influential[see Chomarat 399-409; Benzara 305ff.]

Moderner flexibler Pergamentband im Stil der Zeit. Vollständiges Exemplar des erstmals 1499 in Ulm erschienenen berühmten Almanachs, mit der 38 Blätter umfassenden Einleitung und den Ephemeriden für die Jahre 1521-31 (je 14 Blatt). Die von Stöffler und Pflaum herausgegebenen Ephemeriden bilden die Fortsetzung der legendären ersten Ephemeriden von Regiomontanus. Die prächtige zweifarbige Druckermarke am Schluss zeigt einen ganzseitigen Wappenholzschnitt. - Stellenweise etwas fleckig und mit Anmerkungen von alter Hand. Titel mit Besitzvermerk und ergänztem unterem Rand (ohne Textverlust). Zweites Blatt mit leicht restaurierter unterer Ecke, sonst gut erhalten. - Houzeau-L. 14471; nicht bei Adams und Zinner

Edition originale. Les anabaptistes étaient ainsi nommés parce qu'ils rejetaient le baptême des enfants, limitaient aux adultes les bienfaits de ce sacrement, et dès lors soumettaient à un nouveau baptême tous les chrétiens qui embrassaient leurs opinions, bien qu'ils eussent été déjà baptisés dans leur enfance. C'était une des sectes les plus fameuses issues du protestantisme. L'Amérique du Nord compte un grand nombre de baptistes, subdivisés en une infinité d'églises particulières.Nombreuses planches hors tète.

Schönes, nach links gewandtes Brustbild des Pianisten und Komponisten, der maßgeblich “zur Entwicklung des Klavierspiels und des Klavierunterrichts in Frankreich im 2. Drittel des 19. Jh. [beigetragen hat]” (MGG XVI, 1521). - Das Blatt stammt aus der Hand des Berliner Malers und Lithographen Gustav Feckert (1820-1899), der bis in die 1870er Jahre hinein “neben dem Pariser Mouilleron den Ruf des tüchtigsten Reproduktionslithographen seiner Zeit [genoß]” (Thieme/B. XI, 330). - Verso gestemp. “Stuttgart, C. F. Leins, Oberbaurath” (1814-1892), Gründungsdirektor der TH Stuttgart und Ahnherr der sog. “Stuttgarter Schule”. - Mit kl.
